Hi. This is Cielo, wife of Juan Sajid Imao. I chanced upon this blog and saw the comments about Sajid. Yes, Sajid did sculpt the Rizal statue at the Rizal Shrine in Fort Santiago as well as several works inside Ateneo such as the Fr. Horacio dela Costa monument, the Moro Lorenzo monument and the main altar piece (Corpus) at the Church of the Gesu. He signs his works using his given name "Juan Sajid."
Cielo: Thank you for posting here. Now we are sure that we are talking about the same artist. I would probably visit and see his other works as well. Again, thank you so much!!!
hi Maam Cielo I hope we could publish the works of Mr. Juan Sajid Imao in our magazine at Market Square Magazine to our Global Pinoy Section.. thank you very much God bless..- Nikko Bien Relucano From Marikina
